20th Anniversary T-shirt Design Contest
Hedenkamp will be celebrating 20 years of learning and community in 2023! In honor of the occasion, we are offering the opportunity for students to design a 20th anniversary shirt.
- T-shirts must be designed by a student, and can utilize all shirt space
- T-shirts must include “Hedenkamp 20th Anniversary”
- The only color to be used on the shirt are: red, white, blue, and silver
- Pick the shirt color: red, blue, grey, or black
- Design due to teachers by 2/13/2023
The winner will get a free t-shirt, and the design will be featured in the yearbook and printed and sold. Winners will be announced by 2/24/2023.
Flyers will also be sent home by your child’s classroom teacher (or you can download and print the t-shirt design template PDF here). We can’t wait to see all the creative designs by our Huskies!
Free Popcorn for PTA Members
Free popcorn for PTA members this Friday, February 3, after school, from 1:15-2:15 pm, near the bike racks/outside the YMCA room/3rd grade gate entrance).

Amazon Smile
Amazon will be ending its AmazonSmile program on February 20, 2023.
“To help charities that have been a part of the AmazonSmile program with this transition, Amazon will be providing them with a one-time donation equivalent to three months of what they earned in 2022 through the program, and they will also be able to accrue additional donations until the program officially closes in February. Once AmazonSmile closes, charities will still be able to seek support from Amazon customers by creating their own wish lists.”
There are still other charitable programs that you can select Hedenkamp PTA for, such as Ralphs, Food 4 Less, Office Max, etc. Information on these can be found on our Donations & Retail Support page.

The nomination committee is currently seeking parent volunteers who can serve on the Hedenkamp Elementary PTA Executive Board for the 2023-2024 school year.

Reminder – Yearbook
The 2022-2023 Hedenkamp yearbook includes all grades and features photos of students, teachers, staff, school clubs and events. It is a great way for your Husky to remember their time at Hedenkamp!
Preorder your yearbook at the Hedenkamp PTA Web Store. Deadline to purchase a yearbook is April 2, 2023.
Yearbooks will be distributed by the last day of school, pending the printer.
Reminder – Fundraisers
In addition to the Loko Bean Coffee Cart every Thursday and the Robeks Smoothies every other Monday, we are looking to have a dine out fundraiser through Panda Express and Rubio’s within the next few months.
