PTA General Meeting
We invite you to attend the first PTA General Meeting of the 2019-20 school year on Wednesday, August 7 at 5:30pm in the school library. We will discuss the programs and activities planned for the year, review the proposed budget, fundraising goals, and form a committee for the upcoming Father Daughter Dance. If you’d like to help with organizing the Father Daughter Dance, please plan to attend this meeting. This will be one of only three general PTA meetings scheduled this school year, so your engagement at this time is very much appreciated! We sure hope you can join us. Questions? PTA Membership Drive
The Hedenkamp PTA Membership Drive is in full swing! The upper and lower grade classrooms with the highest total new memberships through August 9th will each receive a pizza party and Scholastic prize. Did you know that PTA memberships expire each year and that students can also become members? Please join Hedenkamp PTA or renew your membership to enjoy special perks for PTA members! Thank you for your contribution!
Hedenkamp Elementary PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. There are no refunds.
Paper Donation Drive
We need your help to support our school, one ream at a time! Hedenkamp PTA is collecting donations of full reams of copy paper to benefit the school and your donations are needed! Please send your paper donation to your child’s teacher by August 29. The upper and lower grade classrooms collecting the most paper will be rewarded with a pizza party. APEX Fun Run
Mark your calendars, the APEX Fun Run team is coming to Hedenkamp August 6-16, with the APEX Fun Run scheduled for Thursday, August 15.
Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders are scheduled to begin at 9:00am; 5th – 6th graders will start at 10:00am, and 3rd – 4th graders will run at 11:00am. All parents and guardians are welcome to volunteer!
If you are available to volunteer (and we hope you can), please plan to arrive on August 15, at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled run times. Help is needed during every run, so if you are able to stay for more than one group, please do! Please remember to check in at the front office, then head over to the APEX tent on the grass field to get a marker and instructions. Thank you for volunteering! Questions?
