Yearbook Reminder

If you missed out on purchasing a yearbook during our online sale, we will be selling a limited amount in the main courtyard tomorrow and Thursday. Yearbooks will be first come, first serve. They go fast!!

  • When: WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY, May 29th & 30th at 8:00 am – 8:45 am.
  • Where: Main Courtyard.
  • Cost: $50 and CASH and CREDIT CARD. No Refunds.

Volunteers Needed for the Husky Hustle!

The Husky Hustle is Hedenkamp’s Running Club. We meet daily before school and is open to all Huskies! It is made possible with the support of volunteer parents and grandparents, just like you!

Create-a-Tile

Join us for a night of family fun! Create a tile to be displayed on Hedenkamp pillars for years to come.

  • WHEN: Wednesday, February 20, 2019
  • WHERE: MPR (Multi-Purpose Room)
  • TIME: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • COST: $15/tile PTA Member, $18/tile for Non-PTA Members

Extended! Tiles will be sold online only, and will be sold through the 15th! There will be no refunds.

Yearbooks

2018 – 2019 Yearbooks will be available for purchase on our webstore beginning February 10th to March 15th.

Yearbooks cost $35 and a personalized version is available for $40. They will be delivered at the end of the year. A limited amount of yearbooks will be available for purchase at the end of the year for $50.

They will only be available through the website and there are no refunds.

If you have pictures of any school events like field trips, dances, Husky Howl, etc. for the 2018-2019 school year that you think might be good for the yearbook, please email it to historian@huskiespta.com. Please include your child’s or children’s name, grade, and their teacher’s name. You just might see it in the yearbook!

BOGO Book Fair

One of our favorite events of the year, the “Buy One Get One” Free Annual Book Fair is upon us! It will take place from March 11th to the 15th. There are many ways for your student to get involved including a coloring contest and donating to All For Books. We want to keep kids interested, engaged, and READING!

Watch out for information about a new program called E-wallet that eliminates the need for cash. This year, teacher’s will have an opportunity to create classroom wish lists which is a great way to support your child’s classroom. Our school gets back 55% of each purchase, and we use the proceeds to help provide supplies for the kids.

As you know, we cannot do these events without the help and support of parents and grandparents like you! Please take a moment to review our volunteer sign up. We make it as fun, and painless as possible! There are also opportunities for high school students to earn community service hours.

2019/2020 Nominations for PTA

At the General PTA meeting on January 16, 2019, the Nominating Committee presented the report of nominees for 2019/2020 PTA Executive Board. The election for the 2019/2020 PTA Executive Board will be held at the General PTA Meeting on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Library. Any additional nominations must be presented to the board at the General Meeting on March 6th. Any new nominees must be present at the election and willing to accept the nomination. All nominees must be current PTA members and only current PTA members may vote at the election. Breaking the Cycle of Challenging Behavior with Your Child
